About Me

I was born and raised in Kalamata, where music held a central place in my life from a very early age. I graduated from the Kalamata Music School with the aspiration of pursuing a professional career in music. Along the way, however, I discovered a need to express myself creatively through other forms of art as well. Theatre, visual imagery, and object-making have always been spaces of imagination, connection, and personal expression for me.

This search led me to the School of Fine Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Theatre, where I specialized in Set and Costume Design. At the same time, my interest in working with children encouraged me to attend training seminars in Drama in Education, Story Dramatization, Music and Movement for Infants and Young Children, as well as professional training in Dramatherapy and Play Therapy.

For several years, I worked as a set designer, costume designer, and props maker for theatre and film productions in Thessaloniki and Athens, while my work in set design received awards in short film productions. In Kalamata, I collaborated repeatedly with the Experimental Stage Theatre, designing sets for youth and puppet theatre productions, and I also served on the organizing committee of the city's International Puppet Festival. During this period, I taught music theory and performed as a musician in ensembles of the Kalamata Municipal Conservatory.

In recent years, my deeper desire to turn towards psychotherapy, together with my ongoing curiosity about the human psyche, led me to Art Psychotherapy. I completed my Master's degree in Art Psychotherapy for Children and Adults at ICPS – College of Humanistic Sciences, in collaboration with the Centre of Art and Psychotherapy. As part of my training, I undertook clinical placements with both children and adults and conducted research on family relationships in families with adolescents.

I have collaborated with METAdrasi, providing therapeutic support to refugees and migrants, as well as with the specialized therapeutic centre “Erdo,” where I worked with children and parents. In addition, I collaborated with SOS Children's Villages, participating in children's art groups and facilitating therapeutic parent groups and experiential workshops for adults.

Today, I live in Bern with my family and work as an Art Psychotherapist, continuing to view art as a safe space for expression, connection, and personal transformation.
